One thing about web design is that there is a lot of FREE stuff out there that can make people tons of money. If a web designer would simply give credit where credit is due, one could rake in the dough! Here are a few tips to help you use FREE stuff to make money:

1. Find a FREE HTML editor available and use it!
2. Use some web wizard or web building tool that is FREE to help you build a website.
3. Find someone who will give you some FREE articles for the websites that you have.
4. Take time to view websites that you like. This is a FREE activity that can teach you something in the web business.
5. Take advantage of the FREE tutorials and learn how to do your own thing in terms of web design.

Whatever you do, use as much FREE stuff as you can to save money! But, in the end, be sure that every time you use something free you do two important things: 1. Give credit for that free item. 2. Learn something new.

Every internet blog, business or website needs a web name.  This is what helps a website, blog or business have a real presence.   If you are interested in  having your own website, it is important for you to secure a web name.  We can help you get your own web name on the internet. Here are a few tips for website naming:

Step One-  Website names are called “domains”.   In other words, http://www.namehere.info is a domain name.  http://www.webanddesign.net is a website name or “domain”.  In order to have your own business name or personal name, you would need to secure a domain name.  Please allow us to help you.  At this time in the world, literally millions of domain names have been registered.  If a name has already been registered, it is in the ownership of the person who registered it.  I registered www.webanddesign.net and so I am the owner of this domain name.  You can own your own name or business name.  Let us help you find your name on the internet.

Step Two-You may want to get your own name or the actual name of your business.  You may want to get letters that represent your business. For example, some businesses get the actual name of their business like “Yahoo.com” while others get letters such as “aa.com” for American Airlines.  And still others get their personal name.  Most importantly, you must determine what name you want for your business or blog. 

Step Three-  Keep the name you choose as short as possible and choose a name that represents you  or your business and what you’re about. Avoid extra characters such as dashes or dots in your domain selection.

Step Four-  Choose a name that is easy for people to remember, easy to spell and that means something important and significant to you.

Last-  Domain names can have great value so be sure to register the name in which you choose and keep up with the renewal date so that you don’t lose it.  Many people have the actual business of buying domains in order to sell and resell them so it will be important for you to keep your name secure.
