Web and Design Consulting began out of the love for publishing news, information and internet ideas. Before time on the web, I published a history magazine under Vaughan Publishing Company. As the internet became more prominent, I began my own blog called Bloom Where You’re Planted. Later Internet News and Network began and Web and Design Consulting was born out of that experience. It has been on the internet since 2004. We specialize in consultation for people and businesses about acquiring their own website, getting a web address and purchasing their own domain name(website name).
Currently we feature over 25 websites and growing.
I am a mom, school teacher, photographer, entepreneur and internet consultant. One of the most exciting things that I do is cover news and information for important events. Whenever something big or exciting happens in America, I go if I possibly can. I have photographed at least 5 Presidents, dozens of famous people such as Rosa Parks, Colin Powell, Rudy Guliani, and more. I covered the World Trade Center event in NYC, the Pope’s visit in Washington, DC and of late, the Inauguration.
I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. I love my city.
Many times I’m asked how I figured out web design, understanding ftp info, code and such and basically it was by just piddling and doing what I could not afford. What I need to do for the most part concerning the internet and web design is to have time to look it over and figure it out.
My life’s passion is of course, my family but beyond that it is news, information, photography and being an entreprenuer. My favorite pet is my sweet Sophie. She is a three year old dapple dachshund.
